I am a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Before moving to Michigan, I completed a M.A. in philosophy and a B.A. in religion and applied ethics studies at Arizona State University.
I am interested in topics related to knowledge and ‘knowledge’. Recently, I wrote a paper entitled, “Time Constraints and Pragmatic Encroachment on Knowledge” (Episteme 2014) where I used experiments to try and figure out whether folk knowledge attributions are influenced by the epistemic subject’s (truth-irrelevant) time constraints.
Currently, I’m exploring certain asymmetries in the fittingness conditions between praise and blame in both the epistemic and moral domains.
